Antaro

DJ Antaro has been called the Trance Papi of Hamburg, where he instigated the original trance scene with a series of small parties inspired by his experiences in Goa, India. He started the Spirit Zone label in 1994 to provide an outlet for the new psy-trance music AND founded the legendary open-air European trance festival;
The Voov Experience, now considered to be the Kumba Mela of Trance Music attracting over 10,000 party-goers each summer and the festival every DJ aspires to play at. Spirit Zone Recordings released many highly recognized compilations, most notably the "Global Psychedelic Trance" volumes, a double pack cd release always consisting of a dance and ambient disc. This series is the probably most influencial and highly acclaimed German compilation series of the genre. Additionally, the "Psychotainment" dance compilation series consists of solid techno-trance tracks. The most recent series is an ambient compilation, the "Global Psychedelic Chillout" volumes, featuring down tempo and progessive ambient beats and peaks. Spirit Zone Recordings established itself as a trademark name over the years, whilst perpetually setting new standards by signing innovative artists from around the world. Originally based in Hamburg, Germany, Spirit Zone is now operating from Ibiza, Spain. Since August 1994 over 150 albums and singles featuring music from all around the world have been released and featured several of the most successful acts in the scene; S.U.N. Project, Electric Universe, Space Tribe, Etnica, Ololuiqui, Star Sounds Orchestra, Spirallianz, Shiva Chandra and many others.

Shakta

One of the most prolific DJ's and producers of the whole psy-trance scene, Shakta (aka Biotone, Chaos By Design, Digitalis, Hibernation, Kaya Project, Seb Taylor, Soma Coma, Somaton, Angel Tears & Foxglove); his constant evolvement in sound and the sheer number of different musical projects that he has embarked on have earned him total international respect. His first album Silicon Trip was a landmark release in the psy-trance scene - and each of the following albums has embodied Shakta as a pioneer in his field. He is widely regarded as a true innovator by constantly challenging the confines of the psy-trance scene. He maintains a busy touring and recording schedule with 4 albums on Dragonfly alone alongside countless scores of tracks on compilation albums in his many guises, but one thing is always constant; Shakta`s sets are always high quality, funky and unique.

Sally Doolally

DJ Sally Doolally has been mixing music together since the early 90s, launching herself professionally as a DJ in 1998 and since growing to be one of the best known female trance DJs in the world. Sally has previously worked with record labels Dragonfly, USTA and Transient and represented them as a label DJ all over the world. Sally is frequently booked to play in Australia, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Israel, Switzerland, Thailand, India, Austria, Finland, France, Belgium, UK, New Zealand, Indonesia, Bali, Macedonia, Sweden, Bulgaria, Mallorca, South Africa and Germany and has played on many international trance festivals including Voov-Experience, Boom Festival, Lovefield, Fusion, Rainbow Serpent, Outback Eclipse Festival, Antaris-Project, Koh Phangan 2002, Summer Dreaming and Shiva Moon. As one half of DJ team Beauty & the Beat she is also a resident DJ on two party crews in Germany, playing regularly for Synergy Tribe and Waldfrieden. They have just released "Wonderland - The Festival Compilation", a compiled and mixed Double CD from this famous German Festival and available from www.universal-music.de Sally is now based in Germany and works as A&R for progressive record label Plastik Park and represents them as a label DJ, currently showcasing 8 progressive bombs from her case in her latest compilation CD - Headspace.

Mick Kulu

Mick is founder and resident DJ at Kulu (www.kulu.info) one of the North's longest running and best loved parties which continues to go from strength to strength; he is a true veteran of the party scene. Always a good night, whether in their club, outside or even at the castle. His recent progressive sets have been that good we felt compelled to invite him to open proceedings on the Kundalini main rig. Let Mick take you on a spine-tingling ride through the smooth and driving side of psy-trance. Rolling basslines thunder along beneath only the most sublime of today's finest psychedelic floor-fillers.

Andy Mason

Andy will be closing the main rig area giving you his own inevitable style, new form music grooves, totally infectious. Andy has been Kundalini's resident DJ since its inception & never fails to deliver. His mixing abilities are well documented & he has earned great respect from DJs & promoters all over the world for playing the right tunes at the right time. As well as being one half of the legendary Drug Squid & Cerebellum, he has found time to collaborate with Distortion Orchestra (under the name Light Brigade), and also performs with Joint Intelligence Committee (www.jointintelligencecommittee.com) marvelously ambient act extraordinaire who wowed at the last Kundalini with an un-precendented all night, 7 hour, live performance... Andy is currently building a new studio... expect to hear more soon... He truly represents the forward movement of trance, which is a direct synthesis of the collective dance energies of this worldwide scene.
