LOGIC BOMB – LIVE – exclusive for this event only !

:: Spiral Trax, TIP World, Solstice Records, Spun Records ::

Logic Bomb :: Live
The Long awaited 3rd Album
:: Sonic Algebra :: Solstice records
In the mid 90s Sweden was introduced to a new type of dance music that was brought back from Goa. Parties were held in the forests during the summer and among this crowd two freshly graduated computer engineers, who had already been influenced by 80’s bands such as Depeche Mode, were now turned onto newer electronic music by Hallucinogen, X-Dream, KoxBox.

Jonas Pettersson and Johan Krafft started producing music under the name Logic Bomb in 1998. They released their first album "Headware", produced together with Jonas Bergvall, on Spiral Trax in the year of 2000. Their second album "Unlimited" was released on TIP World in 2002. Now after three years of brewing, things are cooking again in the bomb-lab. The new full length album from Logic Bomb, including 9 new tracks is now available for release, but Shamania will be their only UK performance. So get ready to be blasted again by the Swedish boys..

Jonas Pettersson produces music alone under the name "Tranan" and has recently released an album called "Restarter" on Solstice Music. Johan Krafft's soloproject called "Alternate Vision" is about to be released on Spun Records in the near future.

Beatnik - LIVE

:: Nano Records ::

DJ Beatnik :: Nano recordsHis sound is a combination of uplifting, driving, original melodies alongside intricate psychedelic sounds and structures. Having played classical music since the age of 5, he moved on to making electronic music at the age of 10. At 13 he discovered psychedelic trance - in the form of Infected Mushroom and Logic Bomb - and finding it an inspiring and intelligent form of music began listening to more of it, and trying to write it (two years before he'd attended his first psytrance party). Eventually realising that electronic music had become much more than a fleeting passion, he decided to purchase his first equipment and began to focus on crafting his own identifiable style. The aim: to combine music for the dance floor and music for the mind.

Nik had his debut release with the influential psytrance label Nano records, where he featured alongside established artists such as Laughing Buddha, Protoculture, Dick Trevor and Junya(Jumanji). His debut live set was in April 2006, playing peak time on the main stage at the Synergy Project - alongside Polaris and Zub-Zub - followed on by his second live set on the main stage at Tetris Safari festival in Ireland, where artists such as Dick Trevor and Laughing Buddha also played. Following these performances, and the very positive reactions to them, his demand as both a live act and DJ is growing, and he is now playing both live and DJ sets around the UK and abroad. He also has releases confirmed for several upcoming compilations.

System 7

:: A-wave Records ::

System 7 :: Steve and MiquetteSystem 7 is the dance floor project of Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy. Their style hovers between trance, techno and progressive house - with a unique spacey character that is deeply psychedelic without being typical psytrance - and the added element of Steve's highly specialised techno guitar. Rather than simply being a duo, System 7 has always been more of an extended collaboratory project with contributions from a wide range of other artists including such luminaries as Derrick May, Alex Paterson (of The Orb), Carl Craig and Laurent Garnier.

"Power Of Seven", their fourth and most daring album to date, features an impressive cast of collaborators including Det May, recently appointed Goa guru Youth, The Orb's Alex Paterson and long-time friend and accomplice DJ Lewis. Embracing ambient hip hop, funky house, deeper and harder techno beats as well as the fresh influence of the avant-garde breakbeat/drum 'n ' bass movement, "Power Of Seven" unites the fragmented dance music strands into a cohesive whole.

System 7's music also has a distinctive ambient element, which they've recently developed into a separate down tempo project called Mirror System. The most recent System 7 worldwide CD releases are “Encantado” and “Live Transmissions” also available worldwide on iTunes, together with the iTunes exclusive Planet 7 digital LP. System 7 play regularly at major dance events around the world and the” Live Transmissions” CD - recorded in Japan - perfectly captures their powerful live sound.

Elf is also responsible for Liquid drops Visual Art and Design for the psychedelic trance world and beyond. This includes backdrops and stage design as well as graphic design for flyers and websites. He was first inspired to DJ and organise parties after going to the early Megadogs and Return to the Source at Brixton Academy. He began buying records and mixing on a set of 1210s he bought second hand but soon exchanged them for pioneer cdj500s as they became the industry standard. He is one of the founders of Liquid Connective and his first official gig was the very first Liquid party.. Liquid Ross

:: Liquid records ::

Liquid RossLiquid Ross mainly plays full-on trance, being the leading A+R man for the newly established Liquid Records, you can always expect his arsenal of tunes to be some of the grooviest sounds around, and he most definitely knows how to keep the dance floor alive!

After travelling to India and South Africa Ross soon became inspired to put on outdoor psychedelic events and in early 2000 Ross and friends formed the Liquid Connective, a party organisation and stable platform for local up and coming artists and performers to work on. Five years on Liquid has become huge with outdoor events gathering more than 4,000 people and sell-out London nights, with little or no promotion!

Ross has played for almost every one in the scene and shared the stage with some of the trance scene's most well respected artists including Bamboo Forest, Bio Tonic, Cosmosis, Earthling, Eat Static, Etnica, GMS, Hydrophonic, Ozric Tentacles, Prometheus, Raja Ram, Sesto Sento, S-Range, SUN Project, System 7, Tristan, and X Dream to name a few.

Jon Kenobi

:: PsyPneumatix Records ::

Jon KenobiJon Kenobi first caught the psychedelic trance bug while searching for a sound that went that little bit further than the usual run of the mill trance/techno. Having discovered artists such as MWNN and Astral Projection through the mainstream record stores Jon delved deep into the realms of the psy world taking on board the likes of Hallucinogen, Cosmosis, Prana and The Green Nuns of the Revolution. From there the collection gradually grew and grew and a greater interest in finding the parties grew with it. In 2001 it was evident that the Midlands psy scene had somewhat diminished with the famous Spacehopper parties being a thing of the past, so it was at this point that he decided to don the headphones and hook up with other like minded individuals in the area. This eventually turned into the West Midlands 'Stereo Chemistry' crew & parties. Since getting involved with the crew Jon was a resident DJ with them and, along with party founder CosmoNaughty, helped promote and establish the Stereo Chemistry parties in the Midlands, before they decided to part company in 2006 to pursue other projects.

Jon is now the UK rep for Australian Psytrance label PsyPneumatix Records (www.psypneumatix.com) and has been actively working with them since 2003 promoting the PP sound around the UK. He is currently putting together a Various Artist compilation CD titled 'About-Time' with label co-head Fresh. The CD should be hitting all the usual outlets in the summer of 2007 so stay tuned. Jon is also currently a resident DJ with long time party crew MessMedia who put on 'non club' venue style events. In his DJ sets you can usually find him playing funky, groovy, bouncy full on psytrance...music to make you wiggle and giggle. The force is strong with this one!

M-Theory - LIVE

:: Alchemy Records ::

M-TheoryM-THEORY are UK based Marcello Baccheschi & Rob Nichols. Meeting on the dance floor of Sola Luna (2001) they became good friends and already producing trance music under their own solo projects, they decided in 2005 to produce music together under their new project M-THEORY. Recently signed to Alchemy Records, M-Theory are exciting dance floors with their edgy morning melodic sounds, underpinned by phat & funky bass lines........

Electronic music lover since his teenage years, Italian-born Marchello moved to London in 1997 where he started dj-ing trance. Performing alongside all major artists, in underground venues and legendary clubs alike (such as Tyssen Street studios, Enlightenment, Mindscapes, Astral Phoenix, Antiworld and Chichime to name a few), his groovy taste and impeccable mixing technique has won him a respected place in the UK psytrance scene. Label dj for Etnicanet Records from 2001 to 2004, he moved to Neurobiotic Records in 2005. He has played around Europe, at international festivals and events like Celebra Brazil, Brazilians Trance Festival, Sonica and more. In 2002 along with friends he founded the cutting-edge London party Fairy Tales. Producing music for a while now, his solo project Cimi has appeared in compilations for Alchemy, Point Zero and Y.S.E. Pairing up recently with Rob (Monastic Squid) on an exciting new project M-Theory, they are about to release new material that will blast the dance floors with their fresh production and atmospheric journey of sound.

Playing music from the age of 12, UK born Rob grew up in a small Somerset costal town. After taking up piano, Rob moved on to drums and guitar but remained a keyboard player foremost; playing in school and college bands. At University he became equipment manager and started the 'Flat press' electronic nights in Winchester, spinning vinyl such as Orbital, F.S.O.L, Black Dog Productions; Rob also helped out with friends in the early 90s London squat party 'Zero Gravity' ~ hosting now familiar names as 'Justin & Aaron Liberator', 'Dave the Drummer' and the 'Club Dog' crew. Regularly journeying to festivals and parties through the 90s Rob followed the Techno road when in 95, a friend played him a 'Tsuyoshi Suzuki' mix and Rob discovered Goa Trance. Travelling the world to find out what its all about, he returned to London in 2000 and began producing psytrance under the name Monastic Squid; releasing on 'Alchemy Records' and 'Procyon Records' before teaming up with good friend Marcello to focus on their new project 'M-Theory'.

BANCO de GAIA – UK

:: Disco Gecko / Six Degrees ::

Toby Marks :: Banco de Gaia
:: The latest album ‘Farewell Ferengistan’
released June 12 2006 (Europe), July 4 2006 (N.America) ::
Toby Marks, the creative force behind Banco De Gaia, is a free thinker. He is also one of the worlds leading exponents of globally inspired eclectic electronica. Mixing electronic and acoustic instruments and voices his work defies genre classification. He has worked with a variety of musicians ranging from legendary saxophonist Dick Parry who played on Pink Floyds “Dark Side Of The Moon” to Anglo-Egyptian singer Natacha Atlas and cutting edge dance producers such as Jack Dangers and Fluke. Banco De Gaia cut his teeth on the early 90s Ambient Dub compilations (a precursor of the recent chill out marketing phenomenon).

In 1994 he released his first studio album “Maya” on Planet Dog records. “Maya” was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize on its release, followed in 1995 by the critically acclaimed “Last Train To Lhasa”. Both albums reached No1.. in the UK independent charts as well as the national album chart top 40. In the following decade Banco De Gaia released “”Live At Glastonbury”, “Big Men Cry”, “The Magical Sounds Of Banco De Gaia”, “Igizeh” and “You Are Here” as well as the best of compilations “10 Years” and “10 Years Remixed”. Few artists, even with major label support, have viable careers beyond that difficult second album. Banco De Gaia however has already released a total of nine albums over the last 12 years.

His work has been included on numerous compilations, film soundtracks, and advertising campaigns. He has been remixed by the great and the good, Oliver Lieb, Rabbit in The Moon and The Dub Pistols to name just a few.

The Joint Intelligence Commitee - LIVE

:: The Joint Intelligence Commitee ::

Joint Intelligence CommitteeJoint Intelligence Committee are really just a couple of guys who love to make music, with little emphasis on either intelligence or being a committee. Rather than take the usual route of songs, structure and repeatability, they prefer the challenge of improvising around sketches of ideas, adding texture, depth and colour as
they go. This organic approach to musical direction means that their performances may be described as sublime, chaotic, mesmeric, brain-tickling - or just plain weird.

Using a choice selection of dedicated and custom-designed hardware, grooves, beats and basslines are created, modified and tweaked before your very ears, providing a foundation for Paul's wibbly keyboards and Phil's soulful guitar.

One look at the pile of equipment they drag on stage means you won't confuse these guys with any other project!

Effectus super absolutionem is their motto, which, if your latin is a bit rusty, means "performance over perfection". So, yes, it might all get a bit crazy and messy sometimes - but then again, who doesn't when they're having fun?

Paul Nagle - Paul has been footling around the UK electronica scene for longer than he can remember - i.e. more than a week. Paul's first solo performance was in 1983 and since then he's released numerous CDs, written gear reviews for Sound On Sound magazine, programmed synth patches for various companies and hasn't yet given up hope of getting his novel published, winning the Turner Prize or discovering the Higgs boson particle in his cornflakes.

Phil Smillie - Phil's previous - more production-oriented - projects include psychedelic trance combo Cerebellum and its ambient-techno offshoot, drug-squid - both collaborations with long time friend and respected DJ, Andy Mason.
On his recent musical road to Damascus, Phil has rediscovered his guitar, the joys of realtime looping and realised that creating music is so much more fun when computers aren't involved.

Luna Lis

:: Liquid Connective ::

Luna Lis :: Liquid ConnectiveLis first became involved in the psy scene, helping in the co-ordination of Liquid Connective parties, the magical outdoor parties at sacred times of the yearly cycle and then to the larger excitement of small festivals and indoor parties.

At the time there was a real lack of female chill DJ's, and Lis brought her intuition and feminine creativity to help create a lush environment and soundscapes for people to relax, connect, create and to celebrate. Lis loves fusing music together, soulfully and gracefully, energising, uplifting sounds, etheral soundscapes, floating beats and funky fluries of organic sounding baselines, classical Indian and tribal samples. Real connection to the heart and the earth!

Gandolfi - LIVE

:: Chillosophy / I.D.Spiral ::

GandolfiGandolfi studied flute and singing at school and began to dj when she was 19 at the time she was co-promoting Astral Phoenix and where she organised the chill out room. Disappointed in the number of women who were playing music, she decided to have a go herself! Gandolfi then moved on to become a Liquid Connective resident in 2002. She was also associated with Amboworld internet record store and IDSpiral with whom she has performed for more than 4 years now. Gandolfi plays a vast variety of chill out & trance music, mixing the old with the new, east & west, popular with underground, blissful with melancholic. Her main musical influences are Tosca, Kuba, Aba Structure, The Egg, Orbital, Midival Punditz, J Views, Lamb, Massive Attack, Tripswitch & Abacus to name a few.

Gandolfi produced a track with Ott (Twisted Records) where she played the flute & created vocal samples. She also produced a track with Kaya Project which has been released on a one world music compilation (in Australia) and has a long term plan to create a collaboration album whereby she works with a different artist for each track. She has also worked with video artists Inside-Us-All to create live audiovisual performances.
